The defrecord improvements seem to be covered here.

The API documentation is auto-generated from the source code so it's
up-to-date (as I understand it):

But the API documentation isn't comprehensive (hard to be since it's
essentially the docstrings in the code).

Improving documentation looks to be a focus of Clojure 1.4:
