Hi, the problem is, that Clojure does not accept the symbol name "%cursor-marker%" while common lisp does. The autodoc feature of slime uses that symbol to tell the backend where the cursor was when the user asked for completion or documentation.
There was a long discussion on the SLIME mailing list quite some while ago. IIRC the name of the thread was something like "SLIME REPL broken".
