As mentioned before in this discussion, TLDs change owners anyway so the TLD convention can't be used to definitively identify an owner. The aim of the convention is to reduce the chances of library names clashing.
As another suggestion how about clj.handle.library e.g clj.mired.proclog clj.weavejester.compojure clj.acme-corp.dynamite This separates the clojure namespace from the java one, doesn't tie to a TLD and reduces the chances of collisions at the library level. Also, somebody mentioned dropping api/core from the core namespace in a library. Personally, I'd be happy with that.
