Responsibilities:
* Strong desire to problem solve with a keen focus on strategic scope
* Quick study of key server-side technologies and systems
* Drive development from conception and design through testing to
deployment
* Create new features and contribute to existing technology
* Take responsibility for software quality, working closely with QA
* Trouble shoot complex problems, working with support teams as needed

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
* Overall Experience: 5+ years in software development.
* 2+ years experience in Lisp and/or Java software development on
Linux/Unix platforms.
* 2+ years of experience with JVM and/or Java interoperability.
* 2+ years experience working with Internet protocols such as TCP/IP,
UDP/IP, and/or HTTP.
* 2+ years experience with the complete software development process,
from scoping to design, implementation, testing, and release.

Desired Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Computer Science or
similar field.
* Familiarity with Clojure or Scheme.
* Familiarity with Perl.
* Knowledge of SQL, XHTML, CSS, and Javascript.
* Familiarity with mobile web standards (XHTML Mobile or WAP)
* Familiarity with multiple mobile web browsers (WebKit, Blackberry,
Opera, OpenWave, NetFront)
* Solid understanding of Web (W3C) markup languages and interfaces.
* Embedded/mobile development experience.
* Smartphone development, including iPhone, Android, RIM and Nokia
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated,
able to work with little or no supervision.
