Did you try the readme for swank clojure? It is up to date and pretty comprehensive. Of course there is a lot of old documentation out there that we can't do anything about apart from asking the authors to update or remove it.

In don't know much about emacs, so when the installation gives me an error it's impossible for me to fix it. So, in the end: ¿Can someone point me to an updated guide of how to setup emacs for clojure?
