Hi Meikel, thanks for your help! In fact in the meantime I found out that the functions mentioned in the error message were not present in the old ubuntu vim version, so I installed the newest vim from vim.org, and it worked fine!
Thanks again, and also congratulations for creating this great clojure environment. I've not had the time yet to do much with it at home, but the functionality I've used up till now is really amazing!
