I ran into this issue yesterday. Or more precisely: I couldn't find
any way to refer to inner classes in the docs on the clojure.org site.

I personally don't like the look of $ as a separator (I assume this is
mostly just java's internals leaking out, and more or less any other
non-alphanumeric character could work just as well), but it may be a
good idea to document this naming convention somewhere in the clojure
docs, especially for people (like me) who's Java is rusty.
