Since you mentioned '/home', I'm guessing that your operating system
isn't a Windows variant.  But that still leaves a lot of wiggle-room.
For future reference we need to know a lot more about your system in
your request for help, or we're just guessing.  So here's guessing:

I guess that clamscan isn't doing quite what you say it's doing.

It seems more likely that your system is running a scheduled job,
which (a) uses clamscan to scan the system; (b) produces a log file
and (c) mails the said log file to you.

All you have to do is find this scheduled job, and modify it.  One
candidate for scheduling jobs is 'cron'.  But there are others, and
there are numerous (and non-exclusive) ways in which schedules might
be configured in your system.
