I don't know what username you need to use. - Check your freshclam.conf for the DatabaseOwner to know which username you need. - Check your /etc/passwd file to make sure this username does not exist. - If it doesn't exist, check if another username exist that has almost the same name and was meant for you to use. - If still can't find such username, create it. - If such username does exist, modify your freshclam.conf and/or clamd.conf to use this username. - chown the directory and set permissions accordingly.
