As root (sudo -i)

./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-milter

Gets to here and bails out:

checking for mi_stop in -lmilter... no
configure: error: Cannot find libmilter

Some other option I need too?

Thanks Dave R.

And, while I am screwing around, 97.8 showed up in the repo for Lucid, I
assume thru backports. Bunch of errors but they look like the usual new
installation where the conf files in /etc need massaged, so I'll see if I
can put the paddles on those & bring them to life.

Cheers, Gene

Please help keep the world clean: others may wish to use it.
A pen in the hand of this president is far more
dangerous than 200 million guns in the hands of
         law-abiding citizens.
