Ted,
This is what I'm looking for but I've been doing about the same thing with
just a couple of entry's in my file and when I
start the clamav-milter up I get:
Starting Sendmail milter plugin for ClamAV: clamav-milterERROR: Failed to
compile regex '' in whitelist file failed!
My entries look like:
To:oneu...@pcez.com
To:otheru...@pcez.com
Everything else in the file is commented out with a "#" sign. So I figure
I must be doing something wrong. This is on a
Debian Lenny system running their version: 0.96.1+dfsg-1~volatile1.
Everything else seems to work. I'm sorry I got some
people worried about virus databases whitelist, wrong whitelist I guess.
Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
Are you referring to a clamav-milter whitelist file.
update your clamav-milter.conf with a line pointing to your whitelist
file.
Whitelist /etc/clamav.whitelist
The whitelist file specified uses regular expressions. Here are some
simple examples.
From:u...@emaildomain.com
From:....@emaildomain.com
To:u...@emaildomain.com
To:....@emaildomain.com
Be aware that you will have to restart the milter for changes made to
this file to take effect.
Hope this helps.
