Quoting cla...@pcez.com:
I'm trying to use the whitelist file without much success. Could someone post your "clamav.whitelist" file so I can see an good example of what I should be doing?
What I did, and I've only whitelisted one signature, is to create a file called "local.ign2" in the clamav database directory, making sure it was readable by clamav, and in it just put the name of the signature to ignore (whitelist). So, from the shell, it looks like: % cat local.ign2 Sanesecurity.Junk.5154 %
Thanks again, Ken
Not sure if that helps or not, but it is how I solved a problem I had (a way too general rule that triggered on base64 encoded text). -- Eric Rostetter The Department of Physics The University of Texas at Austin Go Longhorns! _______________________________________________ Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: visit http://wiki.clamav.net http://www.clamav.net/support/ml
