You're right; I used clamscan and not clamdscan. The latter cannot be used
in this instance, because clamd does not have sufficient privileges to
read the files from within a user account (even if run as root), whereas
clamscan can be run directly as the user.


--fdpass Pass filedescriptor to clamd (useful if clamd is running as a different user)
