I have both clamXav and CalmAV installed on my desktop G4, ClamXav does not give you the option to scan with clamd. The installation of ClamAV is updated with freshclam in the terminal and similarly clamscan and clamdscan work within the terminal. ClamXav installs its own folders which are completely sepsrate from the ones installed by ClamAV. True, ClamXav makes use of ClamAv database but has a completely separate user interface. So how does clamd get into it?
