Hey Steve, Unless you're having a lot of hits from bots trying to access the admin area, I'd have to say this script appears to be fairly efficient. If it's a concern you could always remove the admin bits and just update the urlz file by hand. Which version of the script are you running?
Do you have any other php running on your site? As for the running php processes, these numbers don't seem outrageous. The 28-33m processes could be any issue with memory but their cpu usage doesn't seem high. Did they give you any kind of metrics to go by or a range of load you're supposed to stay within?
