Hi,

I would like to make a test (via cron) on a directory :

clamscan -ir --no-summary ~/.mozilla-thunderbird

this line works great, but takes time. So I have tested with clamdscan
and it works great, but the files must be readable for the user. And
there are not.

How can I solve this problem ?

- the solution "chmod" is not good, because thunderbird changes the
permissions of the files.

- Is the solution to launch clamd under my user safe ?

Thx a lot
Cheers,
Guillaume
