You do not need to remove old rpms before installing new ones. ClamAV comes in
several rpms, so you need to make sure you upgrade them all. To find out if
you have any others installed, enter

rpm -qa clam\*

If that command lists any packages, you need to find updates for them as well
as for the clamav rpm that you removed earlier. None of your yum repositories
appear to contain ClamAV (if they did, "yum info clamav" would still show
details), so you have to find rpms built for your version of Linux.

If you have RedHat EL5 or CentOS 5, you can find suitable packages at
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/. Download and install the
ones you need with "rpm -Uvh". If you have another version, we will need to
know what it is in order to help you find the correct packages.
