I have just unsuccessfully tried to compile on Solaris 10 x86. The build fails at: (cd .libs && rm -f libclamunrar.so && ln -s libclamunrar.so.4.0.0 libclamunrar.so) false cru .libs/libclamunrar.a unrar15.o unrar.o unrar20.o unrarppm.o unrarvm.o unrarcmd.o unrarfilter.o unrarhlp.o gmake[2]: *** [libclamunrar.la] Error 1 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/export/home/jon/clamav-0.93rc1/libclamunrar' gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/export/home/jon/clamav-0.93rc1' gmake: *** [all] Error 2 So, having read about the problems with libclamunrar higher up this thread, I uninstalled the previous version. Then ClamAV compiled without problems. I've never had to to this before, I usually run make uninstall after the make.
