Hello Robert, > [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# grep LocalSocket clamd.conf > # LocalSocket /tmp/clamd > LocalSocket /usr/sbin > > There is no clamd in /tmp but there is in /usr/sbin and that is 755 > root:root. Does this need chmod or chown changes?
Well, one possible solution would be this: mv /usr/sbin /usr/sbin.bak chown clamav /usr but for some obscure reason that I don't have to time to explain right now, I *strongly* recommend that you do not do that. The best solution is to keep the default settings (hint: man 5 clamd.conf).
