Thanks. This gave

[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# grep LocalSocket clamd.conf
# LocalSocket /tmp/clamd
LocalSocket /usr/sbin

There is no clamd in /tmp but there is in /usr/sbin and that is 755
root:root. Does this need chmod or chown changes?

This never happened in 0.88.7. Thanks for the help.
