You have to upgrade all three at the same time.

>#rpm -qa|grep clam
>clamd-0.88.4-1.el3.rf
>clamav-0.88.4-1.el3.rf
>clamav-db-0.88.4-1.el3.rf

Download the newer versions of the 3 rpms above and then:

rpm -Uvh clamd-0.88.6*.rpm clamav-0.88.6*.rpm clamav-db-0.88.6*.rpm
