I've just updated to 0.90RC1.1, so have been keeping an eye on the logs.
Freshclam produced the following output when trying to apply

The ":AvO8Yh[...]" appears to be the digital signature of the update. I
ungzipped the gzipped portion of the file and it has 41 lines.
Mine is quite an old system (Mandrake Linux 8.2). I was wondering if
anyone else has encountered this error.
