Did you look in the docs directory that came with the source code?
Look at what? And why?
The original poster asked "Any pointers on Clam AV API details ? like
available API, functionality description, expected inputs, return
values," Nigel's response indicated that these things can be found
in the documentation which comes with the source tarball.
It's much easier to ask here how to circumvent our license...
The OP seemed to be interested in using ClamAV according to the terms
of the GPL, not circumventing the ClamAV license. There's nothing
wrong with invoking a GPLed program from an external, proprietary
program.
It's free software... so it comes with free support, doesn't it?
Yes, that's what this mailing list offers. On the other hand, people
quite often are willing to pay for support when using free software,
because such paid support tends to be more responsive and proactive
to the specific needs.
