Yes, it can. Just observe the licence terms.
See below.

Where is the documentation for your product? ;)
I am just wondering how you expect us to know the process of
integration.
This is what we are planning to do :
1. write a glue module which invokes ClamAV exposed API ( say to
scan a file, to find scan status, to initialize ClamAV module, etc etc)
2. link the ClamAV binary with our product executable.
If you wish to *link* to the ClamAV library, you must release
your code under the GPL.
We are fine with this.
The glue module that we will be writing & the ClamAV library will run
as one process. The proxies that we have will interact with this
process to get AV scanning done. We will release entire glue module
code under GPL.
Any pointers on Clam AV API details ? like available API,
functionality description, expected inputs, return values, ..
thanks,
babu
To do this, I would like to know the ClamAV API exposed & the
functionality of each API. This is the information I am expecting.
Please suggest,
thanks,
babu
