If you didn't run freshclam then you don't have any up-to-date
signatures. It's up to you to run it. All the install process does
is put the files on the disk, it doesn't start anything.

..I do not know like executing freshclam !!, with the previous clamav version I executed:

#/usr/local/bin/freshclam - d

...but after the installation of the new clamav version I don't have nothing in '/usr/local/bin/' and I don't have nothing also in other directories.

..in '/etc/rc.d/init.d' I don't have a nobody script for boot startup of
freshclam, but when I used the previous version (0.88.1) was this ! ..

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're trying to say.

..with the previous version (before uninstall) I had a init script in /etc/rc.d/init.d, with the new clamav version I don't have a init script.

You need to:

1) Start freshclam in daemon mode

..as I can make this ?

2) If you want to use clamdscan then start clamd

..as I can make this ?
thanks again.
