I have read the clamav-devel manual again and conclude that STREAM command does not support recursive archive scanning. Hope the developers team include this support in a future releases. Guys, thanks for the help.

Hi, On Sep 18 from the change log said: "clamd: remove obsolete StreamSaveToDisk directive" Just to be on the safe side, I'd re-install. 1. Take a copy of your current .conf files (just in case) 2. Make sure that you use the ClamAV windows un-install icon and then delete the c:\clamav-devel folder 3. Download the lastest windows port from http://www.sosdg.org/clamav-win32/index.php 4. Check that in your clamav-devel/etc directory you only have two files; clamd.conf and freshclam.conf Now see if things work out....
