Just FYI, I upgraded today from devel-20040630 to 0.75.1 with no trouble.

I have been running clamav in parallel with uvscan on my mail gateway, and
in the last few weeks out of tens out thousands of viruses detected, clamav
missed 6 that uvscan caught, and uvscan missed 2 that clamav caught. I have
uploaded the 4 samples (the other two were duplicates) to the submissions
page after checking first and confirming they were unknown. (Hope no-one
minds me going over the 2-per day limit!)

If anyone else wants to see them to confirm, they're all online here:

Just FYI the mail gateway is running clamav, uvscan[*], anomy, spamassassin
and spamprobe, and coping rather nicely with the full load for a university
with 2000 staff and 15,000 students running a load average of considerably
under 1.0 on average. Major props for free software!

[*: this was to keep the management happy, since we get it bundled with a site
licence for desktop AV anyway. And I like having a backup. If we ever
get overloaded however I would turn clamav off first, as it is much more
of a CPU hog than uvscan]
