I'm reporting success for the same upgrade. I've gotten 24 hours of
troublefree operation, which is a good sign since one of my machines is
notoriously picky about clamd.

>Mydoom.M are (almost all) caught and mem usage is at ~14M. 0.75 would

Mine however are some strange sizes. Tell me what you think of this:

USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
clamav 5089 0.1 0.6 31736 14288 ? S Jul30 2:44 clamd
clamav 3897 0.2 1.3 32760 14168 ? S Jul30 3:31 clamd
clamav 30246 0.2 2.9 57260 30332 ? S Jul30 5:00 clamd

The first line is mx1, a P3 700 with 2 Gigs RAM.
The second line is mx2, a dual P3 700 with 1 Gig RAM.
The third line is mx3, a P3 600 with 1 Gig RAM.

Note how the first 2 are very similar, but the third is got something a
little funky with it. The configs of clam appear to be the same and the
virus db appears to be current on all three. All the machines are
RedHat 9.0. Any ideas? It's curious to me. If I find out what's
causing this, I'll probably find out what's causing the instability on
this one particular machine.
