Hello, it`s possible, that clamav-milter first receives mail (only when sending mail from local network - regardless it is infected or it is not infected), then do scanning ? Because virus scans takes a lot of time on large attachment (Celeron 366 - 5MB takes about 10s) when it is sended from local user and his system waits for confirmation of MTA ... It'd be better, when it first receives mail a then do virus check -> if it is infected, then move to quarantine dir, other way continue sending. I`m using Sendmail 8.12.11 and FreeBSD 5.2. Sorry for bad english.
