I tried disabling my firewall with no effect.

"host database.clamav.net" attracted:
"truncated, retrying in TCP mode,
timed out -no servers could be reached".

I can't believe the problem is just that the servers are busy.  I get
the same lack of response at all times of the day.

Sorry, but I don't understand what a DNS query means.  I am incidentally
running SuSE 9.1 Pro on a desktop (no network).
