Yes
you must update the clamav.
I am
doing it myself for the first time, beginner like you, but I use FreeBSD so I do
not know how to do it with redhat but I think you do it with an rpm manager or
download the rpm from clams site and install like new. But I bow to Redhat users
greater knowledge on that one.
FreeBSD Note:
FreeBSD user cvsup ports tree and make install clean
/usr/ports/security/clamav and force the pkg install.
