I've put up a proof-of-concept (read 'ugly') virus alias database at http://www.kevinspicer.co.uk Its currently rather limited in that it only fully indexes Clam, Fsecure and Symantec (although some aliases for other vendors are picked up). If people feel it is worth pursuing then I'll try and find time to add some other vendors and maybe even make it less ugly (and validate the html!)
