I just try to set up ClamAV with CommuniGate Pro using the cgpav tool. But somehow it does not work: I want the engine to scan the mail and, if a virus is found, add a header to the mail (leaving the action to the user). So I updated the config accordingly, but all I get in the log is:
EXTFILTER bad response: ADDHEADER "X-Virus-Flag: Yes"
Does anybody know how to fix this? The server used is CommuniGate Pro SMTP 3.5.9 (maybe that's the reason?)
3.5.9 is obsolete. Upgrade to 4.x immediately (CGP upgrade is free). You might have to rewrite your web interface (if you already customize it), but other than that the upgrade process is painless.
