Maybe adding an encyclopedia of virus information to each name?

I was more thinking along the line of a database filled with the announcements on the clamav virusdefs list where anyone can add information like aliases and links to commercial AV vendors. Any information added would be subject to moderator approval to prevent spammers from adding links in the same way they use to spam through blogs.
It's not that hard to parse mail through a script to add information to a database.

Information would be requested by a link to a domain /virusinfo.php?name_of_virus.

IMO a database is easier to maintain then one page that you need to scroll..

Now.. I could do it but it is my understanding that someone else is already building something. I don't mind to do something but I'd rather not duplicate someone elses work. And I'm still not sure if the majority of this lists members would find something like this really useful.
