Have you edited the clamav.conf file to scan zip files? You also need to install the tnef package for tnef capabilities.
Yes I have set clamav to scan zip files, it's just that not all zip files are scanned. As for Tnef, I have to install that... (Not even sure what TNEF is to be quite frank.)
