Tomasz You were soooooo right ! After removing and re installing all the rpms with no luck, I started seeking all the individual files that compose the GMP and guess what? I discovered a /usr/local/include/gmp.h that was not part of the rpm since it gets installed in /usr/include !! As soon as I deleted this file, compilation succeded without any trouble.
