I'm having some problems with clamscan and mbox files (text files used to hold mail, in other words , Inboxes -CommuniGate Pro style- ). If I try to see if that kind of text file has an attachment with some virus, clamscan says no (and in fact it is infected), but if I extract the attachment from that mbox file and save it individually then clamscan in fact find a virus in the attachment. I also used the --mbox flag to check the mbox file but it didn't work either.
What am I doing wrong?
