I've been running clamav-0.54 + amavisd-new-20030314 + postfix-2.0.9 on a
Solaris 9 (sparc) machine for a few weeks now. Everything worked like a
charm, until today. It seems that clamscan chokes on certain messages,
doing nothing but eating CPU time. Is it a coincidence, or could this
new Worm.Palyh.A worm have something to do with it ?

my clamav section in /etc/amavisd.conf looks like this :

  ### http://clamav.elektrapro.com/
  ['Clam Antivirus - clamscan', 'clamscan',
    '--stdout --disable-summary -r {}', [0], [1],
    qr/^.*?: (?!Infected Archive)(.*) FOUND$/ ],

Maybe it's worth to mention the fact that when things stall, there are
always two clamscan processes eating CPU time.
I read somewhere that there is a race condition issue with clamav-0.54
that could be solved by adding --threads=0. I tried it, but that doesn't
seem to solve the problem.

Any ideas ?
