Hy, I'm using postfix 2.0.4 with amavisd-new-20021227 (patched with amavisd-new-20021227-1.patch, amavisd-new-20021227-2.patch and amavisd-new-20021227-p2) and H+BEDV antivir and clamav-20030317 (same problem as with clamav-20030226). Every few mails deliveries I get the following error: Mar 19 17:15:56 nepomuk amavis[25592]: (25592-02) Clam Antivirus-clamd FAILED - unknown status: /var/amavis/amavis-20030319T171536-25592/parts: Can't stat() the file ERROR\n
Is this problem caused by amavisd-new or clamd? I haven't found anything in the amavis mailing list archive and therefor ask on this list first. Does anybody have a workaround? I already tried to change the order how both virus scanners are called but this doesn't help. I plan to stop using H+BEDV antivirus as soon as I'm convinced that clamav is nearly as effective.
