[I've kept the subject the same, hopefully it'll be picked up on the same thread]
FWIW, mandrake 10.1 is now using 0.81 as it's official distribution of clam, (ClamAV 0.81/685/Wed Jan 26 09:08:24 2005 is the build date) and it seems to be suffering from the same problem. I'm just grabbing the latest version from CVS to see if that fixes it, but I'm currently getting this: [sent] GET /main.cvd HTTP/1.1 Host: db.au.clamav.net User-Agent: clamav/0.81 Connection: close Range: bytes=0-511 If-Modified-Since: Fri, 28 Jan 2005 16:26:33 [Received] HTTP/1.0.304 Not Modified Date: Mon,31 Jan 2005 11:58:59 GMT Server: Apache/2.0.52 (Debian GNU/Linux) ETag: "53f68-189e41-402bcc00" X-Cache: MISS from nme-pow-pr2.tpgi.com.au Connection: close Note, it's returning a 1.0 header, too (even though, it doesn't seem right to me - if you ask for a if-modified-since, and it has been modified, but it doesn't give you what you ask for - isn't that a good sign of a confused, nay, buggy proxy server to me? Unfortunately, it's transparent for my customer, and I can't bypass it) I've just downloaded the latest CVS and I'll try that, and if that works I'll submit a Mandrake bug report - but, I thought I should bring this to your attention too! --Rob ########################################### This message has been scanned by F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange.
