DNS method is not possible in my special case (on my virus-test-computer). 
However, the 404-handling is always required and should support a 
HTTP/1.0-answer, too.

I suppose that this issue is not only related to "buggy"-proxy-servers: 
Squid2.5STABLE7 seems to be affected, too.
