Hi Michael,

In the past we have used stuff like NCS5501 when we had a long wait
time for ASR9001, so an edge PoP / MPLS PE device. This was a managed
service provider scenario deploying L3 VPNs with QoS. It works OK the
only problem was the smaller TCAM size, it can't hold loads of routes
(ASR9001 can hold up to 2M IPv4) but it did what we needed without too
much pain (we had to alter the QoS config but we got the same effect
in the end).
