The difficulty I guess is down to the type of editing required - as to
how important it is to have full continuous sync.

I can't find any way in Linux yet, but I have found that Winnff comes in
Windows with far more presets.
So I copy them over to Ubuntu Winff.
Do you know whether there are Winff presets for aiff ??
Can anyone tell me whether it is possible for the sound to be audible
when scrubbing along the timeline -
as picture does it very well ??
