Before making your students installing Linux as a Windows/Mac replacement or with dual boot you need to have them *really* convinced Linux is the way to go. To get there is long and hard. With a live CD they can use Linux at home also if they are not so convinced. The more they use it at home the quicker they get *really* convinced. Ciao!
