You cannot depend on that your camcorder produces exactly 48000 samples of 
sound per second. The difference adds up over an hour to a noticable amount. 
You can find out if this is the case by loading a hour-long DV file into 
Cinelerra: If the ends of the audio and the video do not match, then you have 
the problem.

To work around the problem, you make edits and move the audio by a tiny amount 
to sync it with the video (you have to switch off "Align cursor on frames" 
and disarm the video for this).

Of course, you can also count (compute) the actual audio samples per seconds 
and change the setting in the Media resources.
