[CinCVS] audio in timeline

Been reading all morning and I must be missing something. I put in Audio 
clips using copy and paste and drag and drop. My audio starts playing 
before the curser gets to the insertion point and then shuts off and on 
before the end. Do I have to put in, in and out points or something.  
Boy I am happy with my video, looks great, course it will have to be 
juggled back and forth to match up with the audio better.
