I have not been able to get cinelerra to install in ubuntu studios i386

it does not show up as installed?
Has anyone been able to install this way.

The AMD package for feisty is known to be broken (aborts with "Illegal
Instruction"), hopefully fixed soon. In the meantime you can install the
generic (i686?) package or try to build cinelerra by yourself (needs a
lot build dependencies)

Christian, I have not attempted compiling yet and it apears that
cinelerre would be a lrge undertaking, more than I care to tacked just now.
I now have Ubuntu Studio installed are you saying take it out and
try the regular Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 but in (i686) in it's place then
install cinelerra (i686)?
Yes I got an error message in Ubuntu studio terminal Illegal
instruction. Core dumped.
