OK. I have added the repository to my sources file but after an update there
is no cinelerra. I am running Kubuntu Edgy on AMD64
have a look here:

first package is a dapper version, last package was compiled on a p4
edgy, both via ssh.........problably you'll need to run a chroot 32bit
system to have it installed on your machine.
i'm not ubuntu user ;), just used machine i was workin on at the time.....
Alternative is trying to install amd64 sid packaging

i think last is better option, an edgy system is not that far a debian
one, so invite you to report dependencies problems i think we can
easily solve....
