Phistuck, my apologies ; triple posting was not my intention, but when I discovered orthographical lapses in my first posting, I deleted it and then reposted (twice, as new errors appeared). As you see, only the last version appears on the forum itself, but those who are subscribed to it receive all the previous messages as well, despite their having been deleted. I don't know how this can be avoided....
In any event, I'd like to try that experimental popup API you mention - could you point me in the right direction and tell me which command- line switch to use ?...
