I understand that corporate loyalty is important in these strange times but no need to eschew logic. > Debugging obscure AIX bugs without access to those systems is impossible. The word "obscure" is indeed relevant.
What is done with donations should be decided by the group. I know that IBM is offering bounties to fix such issues and perhaps that is a nice way for developers to make some money on the side. However, most of us actually need more arm and mips boards, of which are quite inexpensive. As it is, the test runs I do on powerpc mean very little to my target developer audience. I list them purely for novelty to show efficacy. > If you don't want to use the AIX machine then don't use it I indeed log out instantaneously upon getting the AIX server message if I happen to accidentally wander onto one of the machines Graff On 10/11/17, Jonathan Wakely <jwakely....@gmail.com> wrote: > On 11 October 2017 at 15:01, CM Graff via cfarm-users > <cfarm-users@lists.tetaneutral.net> wrote: >> I believe the problem is that very few of us actually want or need >> AIX.
